Weekend in Texas

George took his first trip to Texas. We went to visit Uncle Nard and Aunt Annette. We had a great time! George made himself at home. He explored the house and ,of course, got into everything. Hopefully, they will let us visit again.

George up to mischief

and more mischief

Most of all, George enjoyed playing with Uncle Nard.
Thanks Uncle Nard and Aunt Annette for being such wonderful hosts.

Basket Case

You all know how active George can be. However, when it comes to holding his own bottle the boy is lazy. The other evening I was trying to get some things done and George wouldn't cooperate, but I found a solution. The laundry basket! He loves playing in it so I figured he might stay in it to take a bottle. It worked! I turned on the Noggin channel and he climbed right in. Then leaned back and took his bottle. I hope this trick will work again.

There's peas everywhere!

Feeding George lately has become quite a task. He wants to grab the spoon and feed himself. Here's what happened when he got the spoon from me.

Peek-a-boo

George has discovered that he can hide behind the living room curtains. It is so cute! At first I was worried he would pull them down, but he hasn't yet.

9 Month Check-up

George had his 9 month check-up today. He is doing great, other than a runny nose. Also, he is a little on the skinny side. He weighs 19lbs. and is 30inches long. The doctor said it was nothing to worry about. He is average weight for his age, but above average height which makes him thin. Of course, everyone that knows him thinks he is skinny because he is so active and I have to agree. George is always speed crawling, climbing, and getting into everything. He is definitely curious George.

George's Tacky Feet

George has found that he can climb anywhere. It doesn't matter if it is full or empty, if he wants to get it in he will. As you can see it's not the toys he wants but what they are in. Also the free toys are the best. We finally found a use for all those empty diaper boxes. And the laundry basket is no match for the George. Enjoy!
